Our Practice has been a vital part of the Southern Tier of New York since 1972.


When Dr. James Marshall started the practice his goal was to bring the expertise of specialized plastic surgery to Elmira & surrounding communities. His tireless efforts resulted in the ability of this practice to provide a Regional Burn Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital as well as state of the art surgical treatment for hand trauma, cosmetic surgery and reconstruction of breast and lower extremities due to congenital deformity, cancer treatment or trauma.


We continue to provide individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of patients to improve their function, self image and quality of life.


In 2003, we opened our accredited office based same day surgery center, The Turning Point of the Finger Lakes, LLC.


Our office is conveniently located to local hospitals and business in the heart of downtown Elmira. Parking is free in our lot and our building is handicap accessible.Our office houses patient consultation rooms, Skin Care and Laser hair removal room.
