Ying Zheng, a professor of UNB, Canada Research Chair in Chemical Process and Catalysis. She is an expert in catalysis and catalytic processes for production of clean fuels and biofuels. She authored over 120 technical publications and holds five patents. A couple of technologies have been transferred to industrial practice. She also has an outstanding record of professional leadership and service, and received significant recognitions including being elected to the College of New Scholars of the Royal Society of Canada, Fellowship of the Chemical Institute of Canada and the Humboldt Research Fellowship, and the 2010 Syncrude Canada Innovation Award.
