David Urbach is Professor of Surgery and Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and Chief of Surgery at Women's College Hospital. Dr. Urbach's research focus is surgery-related health services and policy research, with expertise in access to health services, sustainability and funding models, evaluative methods for surgery, medical devices, quality and outcome measurement, administrative data analysis, surgical innovation, and cost-effectiveness in surgery.
