NICKEL CITY STEEL LIMITED is a family owned business created in 1969 and incorporated in 1971 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The principle fabrication at its inception was ornamental iron, however growth was quickly channelled towards the structural steel, custom platework and miscellaneous steel fabrication direction to accommodate the city's and Northern Ontario's growth. This growth was in infrastructure as well in natural resource and industrial sectors (mining, pulp and paper, lumber, energy, automotive and steel making), all of which are still serviced.
All aspects of the fabrication process are controlled in-house...Estimating, design /detailing, project management, fabrication, material cleaning and painting. State of the art detailing software and cnc structural, platework, accessory and blasting machinery combined with traditional, conventional fabricating equipment, a competent, skilled workforce and a stringent I.S.O. Program has allowed us to evolve into a recognized and respected multi-disciplined steel fabricator locally, nationally and internationally.
