Niagara College understands that career-specific English skills are a great asset to Newcomers whose goal is to enter the Canadian workplace or post-secondary studies.

Enhanced Language Training for Employment (ELTE) supports new immigrants moving from college or university studies to the Canadian workplace. ELTE offers a full and part-time delivery study option.  These
programs are fully funded and assist with transportation,
books/materials and tuition.

Occupation-Specific Language Training (OSLT) are offered to qualified new Canadian immigrants who have experience or training in specific occupations and careers. We offer English language training in these sectors:

• Business Language Training
• Health Sciences Language Training
