Dr Quach is a researcher at the CHU-Ste-Justine and professor in the Departments of Microbiology, Infectious diseases & Immunology, and Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. As a clinician-scientist, her research and clinical activities focus on reducing the burden of hospitalacquired and vaccine-preventable infections in vulnerable populations. A Past-President of the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of Canada, Dr Quach's research program has led to improved strategies to reduce bloodstream infections in neonates in the intensive care unit, and improved vaccination strategies in children with cystic fibrosis and other chronic illnesses.
