Habitat Niagara builds decent, and affordable homes,providing no down-payment, interest-free mortgages to qualifying families whowould otherwise not be able to purchase their own homes. Habitat is not agiveaway program in that we provide "a hand up not a handout.”
Established in 1993, our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
