About Us
With 20+ years in the healthcare industry, I began my career as a Resident Social Service Coordinator for dual-diagnosis seniors; worked as a property manager in low-income senior housing; was the Marketing Director in skilled home health care; assisted in opening an inpatient psychiatric hospital in northern Illinois.; was the business development manager for a growing area hospice, and business development director for a 501(c)3 Senior Service Agency, and the Director of Sales and Marketing for a Catholic continuing care retirement community.
As a believer in the importance of volunteerism, I serve in several volunteer leadership positions - Board Member for AgeGuide; President of the Senior Service Coalition of Lake County; Nominating Chair of Continuity of Care - Lake McHenry Chapter, founding member of the Coalition for Aging Resources & Education; and as the past Corporate Sponsorship Chair for the Lake County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, past Vice President of the Lake County Behavioral Health Alliance, past President of Continuity of Care – Lake McHenry Chapter, and past Vice President of Continuity of Care - State Board. I have also served on several professional advisory committees for both hospice and not-for-profit home health agencies.
When not working, I enjoy travelling both locally and abroad with my husband and son in search of the perfect oyster, learning about craft distilleries, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and running two networking groups, one for Women in Lake County and one for Catholic Professionals in Lake County.
