Fresh from the salty winds and iron reddened soil of Prince Edward Island is Sirène et Matelot, the songwriting duo of Patricia Richard and Lennie Gallant. World traveling multi award-winning solo artists, they shine as a team celebrating their acadian roots, personal experiences, concerns about the current global issues and matters of the heart. It’s a fresh sound drawing from acoustic instruments and unique rhythms married to lyrics that are insightful and evocative. Their first album was embraced by radio and francophone communities to great acclaim and their highly anticipated second album, ‘Un monde de dissonances’ was released in September 2023.
