About Me

I have been working and living in the Eastern Bay of Plenty since 1999. As a clinical psychologist and systemic psychotherapist I have extensive experience in the areas of mental health, physical health, addiction and offending. I consider the client as the expert of their lives. I offer non-judgemental and collaborative conversations to help clients making sense of their story. I also offer clinical supervision to different professions and occasionally students.

My therapeutic approach is influenced by Systems Theoretical Therapy and Feedback Informed Treatment. My psychotherapy training provides a broad systemic lens for looking at the wider contexts, systems and relationships in which the issues clients or supervisees present with are embedded. Clients and supervisees are given the opportunity to monitor their own progress and provide immediate feedback about the sessions to ensure they receive the most effective intervention.
