I am a licensed clinical psychologist in NY and Florida. I hold a PhD in clinical Psychology from an APA approved program from NYC. I have a vast array of experiences as supervisor,and clinician, going back over 30 years.This includes experiences in mental health, substance abuse,and trauma.

  Having worked in the private and public sectors, I have 18 years of experience as a supervisor in the New York Dept. of Mental Health and also experience as a Director of Trauma, and substance abuse services at an agency in Florida. I have worked in private practice, and also taught, as well as done consultation work in Florida organizations. I am currently focused on hypnotherapy, in all phases, especially promotion of coping, problem solving skills and wellness, as well as stres management. 

My treatment approach correspondingly  focuses on enhancing the core strengths and abilities of individuals to effect change, rather than overemphasizing diagnostic categories and symptomatology.
