Dr. Djilali has made outstanding contributions to engineering through the development of technologies, the leadership of engineering knowledge-based organizations, and the training of engineers and engineering professors.   He has a track record of research in energy systems that is exemplary in all respects including publications, citations, technology transfer, funding and training.  Dr. Djilali has also supported engineering initiatives and informed energy policy through service on numerous national and international committees.  His leadership roles in the Computational Fluid Dynamics Society of Canada, the Institute for Integrated Energy Systems and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions have led to major advancements. He is a Professor & Canada Research Chair at the University of Victoria.
