About Me

For more than 20 years, Nancy Hill has demonstrated exceptional leadership in working to improve the engineering profession and the status of women. For example, as chair of Ontario's Women in Engineering Advisory Committee (WEAC), harassment was first included in the definition of professional misconduct in Ontario's Professional Engineers Act Regulations and the Guideline on Human Rights in Professional Practice was published. Ontario took the lead on its position on harassment and this had a profound, lasting and influential impact on the status of women in the engineering profession and has been a beacon for other associations across Canada to emulate. Nancy is currently the President of Professional Engineers Ontario.
