About Me


Sam's areas of specialism are leadership coaching, psychosocial support and professional supervision.  The main focus of his work is with professionals and teams experiencing change in a range of commercial and non-commercial contexts, particularly within high emotional impact – including humanitarian – settings.
As well as writing articles and presenting seminars, Sam has extensive experience in coaching individuals and teams working within complex and diverse environments.  He works with leaders across the state, non-government and commercial sectors. He offers a non-judgemental approach and good-humoured ability to challenge clients to engage confidently with the demands of their work context, drawing upon their own strengths. Sam is known for the flexibility and innovation with which he applies his knowledge to coach others through very diverse ranges of work locations and situations in New Zealand and overseas.
