WORKSHOPS, PRESENTATIONS AND SEMINAR TOPICS AND DESCRIPTIONS

Biology of PTSD
A look at modern medical research and PTSD as a physical disability. PTSD is
able to physically alter aspects of the Limbic system which may be measured via
imaging and blood tests.

Living with PTSD
PTSD is probably the most common yet the most misunderstood problem facing
people. PTSD is not an end within itself. There is life after PTSD.

Treating alcohol and drug addiction through a cognitive/behavioral approach.
After 15 years of direct service in the CD field I believe the present approach
is failing our clients. CBT is a good approach which confronts conflicts
between a person's belief system and their behaviors. The two must come into
alignment if there ever is to be recovery.
