Stephen A. Johnson is certified by the National Association
of Christian Counselors as an Advanced Clinical Pastoral Counselor; is a
Diplomate Member / Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress with the American
Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress; and holds certification with the
National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists as a Clinical Supervisor. He is
National Bishop of Faith Covenant Community Church of America; has a 38 year
background in the pastorate; is a seminary professor of counseling, a religious
broadcaster and has spoken to over 200 audiences across the U.S. and overseas.
He is, also, a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and
holds a CISM Certifcate from the University of Maryland & ICISF.

Dr. Johnson sits on his national church's Chaplaincy Certification Board and is
Director of training for its Crisis Response Team. He is an experienced grief
counselor and group facilitator; has worked with first responders and victims
of accident and crime scenes and deployed as a debriefer in the aftermath of
Hurricanes Katrina & Michael, as well as the Orlando mass shootings.

12-Hour Workshop in Faith Based Crisis Response:
Our training model is consistent with standards set by the National Institute
of Mental Health. Our emphasis is on the unique role of Ministry Professionals
and Christian Laity in helping to mitigate post-traumatic stress and bring hope
and healing to survivors of critical incidents.

The purpose of this 2-Day Workshop is to assist the Christian Community in
learning to:

• Integrate Faith Based Crisis Response with traditional Mental Health resources
• Define the concepts of Acute Traumatic Stress Management and Intervention
• Identify the most appropriate Response to use with a given critical incident
• Acquire and demonstrate ATSM / CISM response skills, including Defusing,
  Debriefing, and Death Notification
