Professional Biography
I received my BSW and MSW from Our Lady of the Lake University, Worden School of Social Work in San Antonio, TX. Most of my post graduate training is in trauma treatment. I was initially trained in tri-phasic trauma treatment. I then went on to be trained in EMDR an excellent trauma treatment for all types of trauma. I have had 15+years training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and am proficient not only utilizing the therapy but also teaching it. I have worked as a Clinician on psychiatric inpatient unit; in private practice; founded a State Licensed Mental Health Agency and provided services to the people of the State of Maine. I now proudly work as a Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma treatment with our Veterans. I have experience serving as an Expert Witness in many legal cases involving many types of trauma.
