Noƫlle Damon, LCSW-R, DAAETS, is a psychotherapist in
private practice, who provides treatment, supervision, consultation, and
presentations in the areas of traumatic stress, anxiety, stress reduction, and
restorative meditation practices, with all ages. She is a contributing author
of the book Speaking About The Unspeakable (2008). She is a Diplomate of the
American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress in collaboration with the
National Center for Crisis Management, a certified EMDR practitioner (Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing), a teacher of iRest (Integrative
Restoration/Yoga Nidra)and Breath~Body~Mind,stress reduction practices. She
assisted with the American Red Cross response to Hurricane Katrina, local
flooding disasters, and was the recent Clinical Director for the New York City
Trauma Recovery Network for Trauma Recovery,EMDR Humanitarian Assistance
Programs, assisting communities impacted by Superstorm Sandy in 2012-2013.

Since 1978, when her work began in the field of crisis intervention and
advocacy, she has accrued years of working with individuals, families,
community supported organizations, and disaster relief agencies. She is
presently on the Board of directors of Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian
Assistance Programs, and sits on the International Committee and the Trauma
Recovery Networks Committee.
