Rev. Dr. Jasper W. Hemphill, Jr., NCAC,CPAC,CSC, BCCC,
Biography: Dr. Hemphill has more than (25) years of experience in providing
pastoral counseling, both as a pastor and clinical professional. Along with his
post as President and Founder of Ekklesia Bible Institute – Faith Center: Dr.
Hemphill also serves as Associate Professor of Christian Counseling at Vision
International University.
Expertise in substance abuse assessment, education, intervention and treatment
on both inpatient and outpatient basis, as well as with county/state inmates in
correctional facilities and military veterans.
Expertise in integrating therapeutic modalities (individual, group, couples and
family systems) to insure quality treatment is provided.
Expertise in working with individuals dealing with PTSD related issues, whether
resulting from battering as a child or adult, combat experience or other major
stressors.
Extensive training and experience working with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic
individuals, couples and families.
Effective presentation and teaching skills – able to convey clinical and
educational concepts in a manner that effectively influences positive
behavioral change in a limited time frame.
