Northern Safety Solutions Inc. was established in Sudbury. The president of the company, Denis Desroches, born and raised in Sudbury, had a vision of assisting small to medium size companies with their health and safety needs.

Northern Safety Solutions is a true northern company providing bilingual services for our clients. NSS is recognized as an approved training provider by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. We conduct WSIB Certification Training in a classroom setting as well as online.

There are numerous companies that are too small to have an in-house Health and Safety Professional, but too big to ignore the requirements of the law. NSS is the solution for many of these companies with NSS becoming their outsourced health and safety department. Companies remain cost effective by not having to hire a full time Health and Safety Professional while keeping in compliance with the law with NSS assisting them every step of the way with all of their health and safety needs.

We began by servicing Sudbury, North Bay and Timmins and now our client base ranges across Ontario and is expanding Canada wide. NSS now has associate consultants and trainers across Ontario.

Northern Safety Solutions provides classroom training sessions tailored to our clients needs with over 20 classroom training modules available. NSS also offers over 50 online training modules (French and English) that are 100% Canadian developed content written to present Federal and/or Provincial Legislations and Standards.

NSS is continuously searching for innovative health and safety programs to bring up here to the north.
