Since 1947, Hickory Knoll Golf Course has been known for serving the Lake Villa community with their beautiful 9-hole golf course. When the Golf Course was first established, the military bases throughout the area would bus over military members to play a round of golf for only a NICKEL! We have come a long way since then and are currently undergoing a major redevelopment of the course.

Hickory Knoll Golf Course has 17 new sand traps, a new drainage system at 4 of the holes, and newly developed greens! Our mission is to restore the Golf Course to its former glory days! We welcome Golfers of all skill levels, however, this newly redeveloped 9-hole course is best suited for those looking to improve their short game or golf 20 over par handicap.
