Our Mission

The mission of the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation is to unite donors to the non-profit causes they care about. On a daily basis, we work to educate and engage citizens on the power of charitable giving to effect positive change in Beaver Dam and surrounding areas.

The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation prides itself on:

A Foundation for Success

The Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation's grant-making program is supported both by donations designated for immediate distribution and income from the Foundation's endowed funds. An endowment is a permanent source of funds that is invested for long-term growth. Each year, approximately 4% of the funds are disbursed to fulfill the fund's purpose. As the invested balance grows, so does the amount of the annual grant so that more money is available for distribution over time. Endowed funds allow your family name to live on for perpetuity.
