About Us

Habitat for Humanity Sudbury District was established in 1995 and was originally guided by the Sudbury Home Builders Association. The first build was completed in Hanmer in 1995 and four more homes have been built since then; two single dwellings in Azilda, a single dwelling in Coniston, and a single dwelling in Val Caron.

The Sudbury ReStore was first opened on October 21, 2004. It has moved twice during its 10 years serving the community. The Greater Sudbury ReStore is located at 799 Notre Dame Avenue in Sudbury.

The Sudbury District Chapter plans and manages HFHOGN build projects in their area, including raising funds, hosting events, organizing volunteers, selecting and maintaining contact with the partner families and working with the community.

To bring affordable homeownership to your community, please consider making a donation that will bring a family into partnership and help break the cycle of poverty.
