In 2021, JayTheKidd unveiled his thought-provoking debut single REVENGE signalling a transformative chapter in his career.
Departing from his earlier work, JayTheKidd has delved into crafting intricate stories and lyrics, prioritizing depth and substance over catchy melodies.
He's shared the stage with industry heavyweights, opening for Classified at the 2022 Pictou Lobster Carnival and later that month, captivating audiences as the supporting act for JRDN at a special one-off show.
He's set to take the stage at the Magnetic World Festival in Halifax this October, where he'll open for NLE Choppa. The festival's lineup also features fellow Nova Scotian hip-hop staple Quake Matthews. Additionally, JayTheKidd is currently in the studio, diligently crafting his debut album, while enrolled in the Graduate Music Business program at NSCC in Dartmouth.
