About Me

Kenneth Johnson has made outstanding contributions to advancing engineering practice as an engineer, planner, historian, and publisher with a special scope of practice that focuses on water, sanitation and hygiene for communities in the Canadian Arctic. His work is widely recognized not only for its technical quality and cost-effectiveness, but also its inclusiveness of local and indigenous expectations. His leadership has positively impacted the lives of people and communities throughout Canada's North, achieving these advances through creative, collaborative, and highly professional work. His strategic and measured approaches have found wide acclaim, exemplified by a steady series of assignments starting in the 1980's, culminating in the development of guidelines and standards for the Federal,  Territorial and community governments, and in providing expert advice to all levels of government.
