We are your go to place for everything deli in River Heights. With over 38 years at the same location and still owned by the original family that opened us up, we have knowlegde and expertise to go along with our delicious food.
We offer a full service (licensed) 52 seat dining room open for breakfast and lunch 6 days a week and seasonally open for dinner Mon - Thu and seasonally open Sundays. Our menu is a hodgepodge of classic deli and diner items and we mixed in some fare from the Middle East, Eastern Europe and also just our own riffs on things.
Our deli counter is stocked with all the fresh goodness you crave, salads, meats sliced to order how you want them, jewish delights (but we are not kosher) such as pickled tongue, potato latkes, kugels, gefilte fish, chicken schnitzel, chopped liver, smoked salmon, hummus, the list goes on.
We bring in baking daily from Gunn's and City Bread and a few times a week from Bagelsmith and Friend Bakery.
Our freezers are stocked with over 30 types of soup that fly off the shelves, we are told daily we have the best soup in the city. We also have plenty of frozen ready to heat and serve meats, vegetables, vegan foods, gluten free options (Cocoabeans).
You can get our food delivered through skipthedishes or call us directly (better prices direct but no hot food), we are open to the public, offer curbside pickup, discounts on certain bulk purchases (inquire when calling). We can cater your office lunch, gathering, meal of condolence or anything else you need often on short notice. We also can offer our space up for private events up to 52 guests.
