Kenneth Putt served as an executive with Imperial Oil Limited and consulted in Management of Technological Change. He was a University of Calgary Senator for 8 years and was a founding member of several University of Calgary industry advisory committees. He was the (first industrial) recipient of the University of Calgary's Outstanding Volunteer Award (Engineering) and received APEGA's Voluntary Service Award. He is a founding Director, 1st Honorary Member, Lifetime Achievement Award, Chairman's Award, and Legacy Award recipient of the Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada PTAC. Ken is a past founding Independent Director of Maxxam Analytics International Corporation. He served on leading NSERC/SSHRC, NCE, and CFI grants and Chair selection committees and CANMET's MNACC and NSERC CRP advisory committees. Ken is a Past President of the EIC, CSEM and CSSE-SCIS. Putt is a Fellow and Past Director of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a Past Director of CSEM and EIC  and is a Fellow and Director of  the Canadian Society of Senior Engineers. Ken is also a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada. Ken is the 2015 recipient of the APEGBC Presidents' D.C. Lambert Professional Service Award; the Community Service Award.
