Plan a personal vacation or a group retreat.  Only 3 dwellings on 300 acres allows for quiet reflection or group games and activities.  In the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, the two cottages and lodge bedrooms are available for individual or family vacations, group retreats, family reunions, etc.  Overnight groups of up to 30 or day events of up to 100 are possible.

The Retreat Center Lodge can sleep up to 23 with a combination of private bedrooms and bunkrooms.  Large stone fireplaces and complete kitchen access.  Individual or group rates.  Very family friendly.  Additional tent camping possible.

The Red Cottage is divided into 2 suites, the Blackberry and Wild Rose Suites, with an adjoining door.  Situated in a beautiful cove with creeks and an outdoor fireplace/picnic area.  This creekside cottage sits in the shade of an oak tree and has a view of 2 babbling creeks and an open meadow.  Behind the cottage is a hill where you may see herds of deer or a couple of horses.

The Yellow Cottage is divided into 2 suites, the Azalea and Dogwood Suites, with an adjoining door.  Situated in a beautiful cove with creeks and a firepit, this cottage sits in the bend of Brushy Creek and has a lovely picnic area under the shade of several sycamore trees.  The view to the front is the meadow and to the back and side is the creek.

Peak Mountain Cottages and Retreat is pleasantly secluded in Mitchell County off the beaten tourist path but only about 3 miles from the small town of Spruce Pine where you will find antique shopping, arts and crafts, gem mining, grocery shopping, and the regional hospital.  Area outdoor activities include tubing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, fishing, golf, and hiking some of the highest peaks east of the Mississippi.
