About Me
Dr. Jaglal is a health services researcher with over250 peer-reviewed journal articles. Her research interests includeosteoporosis, spinal cord injury and rehabilitation health services withemphasis on utilization, appropriateness, self-management and knowledgetranslation. As a dedicated educator, Prof. Jaglal is the recipient of the Temerty Facultyof Medicine Graduate Teaching Award for Sustained Excellence in Graduate Teachingand Mentorship. She is also the recipient of the Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics Service Award. She was appointed as Chair, Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in January 2021 for a five-year term.
