Dr. Cai is a world-renowned researcher and technology innovator, and an extraordinary educator and mentor, widely recognized for her seminal contributions to network topology control, connectivity theory, and large-scale wireless networking techniques. Her groundbreaking contributions are highly influential in wireless product development and standardization. She is an EIC Fellow, IEEE Fellow, RSC College Member, and NSERC Steacie Fellow, and serves as a Board member of the IEEE Women-in-Engineering and a Vice President of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
