Samuel Pierre is Professor of Computer Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and director of the Networking and Mobile Computing Research Laboratory (LARIM). He is an internationally renowned expert who has worked for more than 30 years in the field of information and communication technologies: telecommunications, networking and mobile computing, distance training, e-Learning. Over the past 30 years, he has led or participated in projects totaling over $32 million and has supervised until graduation the research work (dissertations and theses) of more than 160 graduate students, including 42 doctoral theses. Dr. Pierre has about 600 scientific publications to his credit.
