Gavin Stuart is the former Vice-Provost, Health and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. His exceptional academic career includes international recognition for leading an innovative, distributed medical education program and significant contributions as a gynecologic oncologist and health researcher. He has lead the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup internationally and the Cervical Cancer Prevention Control Network for the Public Health Agency of Canada. He has been the the principal investigator on numerous International phase III trials in gynecologic cancer.
