About Me
Dr. Hongbo Zeng is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Canada. As a world-leading expert in interfacial science and engineering, he has made significant contributions to understanding how intermolecular and surface forces in polymers, colloids, emulsions, and bubbles determine their physicochemical properties and performance in various engineering processes. He has applied this knowledge to develop new functional materials and surfaces through tunable intermolecular interactions. Dr. Zeng has published about 500 peer-reviewed papers in top journals, one book and nine patents, and he has supervised over 100 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
