Kannan Krishnan, Adjunct Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health at University of Montreal and Senior Vice President at Risk Sciences International, is a national expert and international authority
in toxicological risk assessment of environmental chemicals. He has pioneered the development of new algorithms and extrapolation methods for constructing physiologically-based pharmacokinetic models for environmental chemicals and mixtures. He is a major contributor to the WHO guidance document on the use of these models in risk assessments of chemicals. The recipient of the Plaa Award of Distinction of the Society of Toxicology of Canada (2012), he is a fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences.
