Dr Donald MacAskill is a pediatric audiologist and Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of British Columbia. He has extensive audiology experience in the UK, Ireland and Canada. He has created five pediatric audiology clinics, been responsible for developing one newborn hearing screening program and involved in the set up of three others. His teams have won national awards in the UK, he is a recipient of the UBC Noelle Lamb Award for Excellence in clinical teaching, a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology and (for now) is the only audiologist in Canada with the American Board of Audiology Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification® (PASC®).
