Prof. Jagmohan Humar of Carleton University is a distinguished teacher, researcher and professional engineer. He is the author of a comprehensive text on Structural Dynamics, used by engineering schools throughout the world. His research contributions are reflected in many publications, and have won him several awards including the Gzowski Medal of CSCE, Whitman Wright Award of CSCE and  A. B. Sanderson award of CSCE. He was a design consultant for some of Canada's most noteworthy structures including the Skydome, in Toronto. He also received the Fellowship of CSCE, and EIC award, in recognition of the excellence of the services rendered to his profession and to Canada.
