Dr. Dillon is internationally acknowledged and respected for her many contributions to research, public health initiatives and strategic advice surrounding sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). She has held influential leadership positions in government and academia, as well as with national and international scientific organizations. An award-­winning scientist, Dr. Dillon promotes STD public health initiatives through her international consultations, collaborations and interdisciplinary research. She is an esteemed mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world, as well as other aspiring scientific and academic leaders. Her research has produced over 300 peer--reviewed publications conference proceedings, invited editorials and reviews.
