Dr. Laurie Chan, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Toxicology and Environmental Health at the University of Ottawa, is an internationally renowned scientist in Aboriginal Environmental Health. He has been conducting cutting edge research using a unique multidisciplinary approach spanning from molecular
biology to ecosystem health for 20 years. His work helps to improve understanding of how chemical contaminants alter the environment and human health and has broad application for ecosystems and population health in Canada and around the world.
