About Me
Audiologist at HearingLife in Sidney, B.C. Lia obtained her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of British Columbia and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She is passionate about addressing her patients’ communication needs through evidence-based and patient-centered approaches. She is certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and has a special interest in helping patients with tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia. She is licensed as an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and a member of Speech Language and Audiology Canada. She is a Clinical Educator and mentors UBC Audiology students during their externships. Her patients and students appreciate her kind and compassionate approach to hearing healthcare.
