About Me

Hussein Mouftah, of University of Ottawa, has made major contributions to the design of high speed computer communication networks, including the development of computer-aided modeling techniques and simulation tools for the design and performance evaluation of routing protocols and switching techniques. He has developed a significant innovative algorithms for wireless sensor networks and Internet-of-Things applications for connected and autonomous vehicles in smart cities. He has also been involved in the development of efficient routing and wavelength assignment algorithms for optical wavelength division multiplexing networks. He has educated and trained a very large number of graduate students and other researchers for the need of the Canadian industry and government.
