The Chemung County Child Care Council, Inc. (5C's) is a private not-for-profit resource and referral agency which, through it's leadership, actively promotes affordable, accessible, available, quality child care programs for children by means of it's advocacy, education and coordination efforts. The vision of the Child Care Council is "Universal Quality Child Care".


The agency has many components including:


Administration of the Child Adult Care Food Program; Administration of the Child Care Subsidy System;
Child Care Resource and Referral;
Professional Development for the Child Care Industry;
Support Services for the Child Care Industry;
Resource for Employers, Elected Officials and the Community at large;
Infant/Toddler Technical Assistance Services
