About Me
Dr. Duncan Stewart is the Chief Executive Officer and Scientific Director of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, a senior scientist in OHRI's Regenerative Medicine Program and holds the Evelyne and Rowell Laishley Chair. In addition, he is Vice-President of Research at The Ottawa Hospital and a Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is a pioneering Canadian cardiovascular researcher who is recognized for his many important discoveries in blood vessel biology, as well as his dedication to translating these discoveries into benefits for patients and society. He serves and has served on many advisory boards and committees.
