Gwyn Morgan CM FCAE, retired Founding President and CEO of EnCana, has demonstrated more than three decades of personal and professional commitment to the Canadian petroleum industry. He has helped to establish standards of excellence in the industry, both in technical expertise and in social responsibility. This has been achieved through consistent leadership, by supporting Canadian talent, recognizing value-added potential, encouraging entrepreneurial initiative, and cultivating responsible resource development and community capacity building. Gwyn Morgan was instrumental in the creation of EnCana, through the rapid and successful merger of two major Canadian petroleum companies.
