About Me
Dr. O'Campo is an international leader in Social Epidemiology whose work focuses on understanding the health impacts of complex urban social problems experienced by low-income populations. She is committed to generating strong evidence for solutions to growing urban health disparities. Starting early in her career she has received over a dozen international research and
teaching awards for her scholarly and pedagogical accomplishments. Her distinctive expertise is in undertaking research using strong transdisciplinary partnerships and advancing research methods in her field. Her outstanding leadership and service record are further evidence of her commitment to contributing to strong research such as CAHS.
