George Cook is an exceptional innovator, entrepreneur and mentor. He was the founding President and is currently the Chairman and CEO of NORAM, a company that has grown to a staff of 80; a company that thrives on the development of novel processes technologies. NORAM's patented nitrobenzene technology provides over 50% of the world's production, in 10 plants on 3 continents.  His leadership has been instrumental in attracting and retaining an extraordinary core of engineers, initiating new processes in the chemical, electrochemical, environmental and pulp and paper industries. Previously under his leadership as Vice-President of Chemetics, the first Oxygen Pulp Bleaching Plant in North America was built, and he initiated the electrolyzer concept for the continuous Sodium Chlorate Process where Chemetics is the world leader.
