Professional Biography


Damir S. Utrzan, Ph.D., M.S., LMFT is treatment director and site administrator of Minnesota Specialty Health Systems (MSHS), Como in the Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSA) at the Minnesota Department of Human Services (MDH). Dr. Utrzan is a licensed marriage and family therapist, in addition to, board-approved clinical supervisor in the State of Minnesota (LADC, LMFT, LPC, LPCC). Additionally, he is a clinical fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Utrzan also serves as an unaffiliated research scientist on the Institutional Review Board in the Human Research Protection Program at the University of Minnesota.
