About Us
Community Pediatrics first opened its doors on September 14, 2005, with an idea to bring specialized pediatric care to an area where there was previously none. Our founder, Dr. Elizabeth Peterson, began in a small rented space with only one exam room, one receptionist and one nurse, and within months Community Pediatrics grew to over 500 patients. Today, we have two locations, 3 Board Certified Pediatricians, 3 Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, (all members of the AAP) and 16 support staff including RN's, LPN's, and Medical Assistants.
We have been able to build a unique pediatric setting with each room bringing a different theme. Our staff strive to make each appointment a comfortable experience for children of all ages, understanding the challenges and demands that are placed on todays families.
