About Me


Fassi Kafyeke joined Bombardier in 1982 as an Aerodynamics engineer. Manager of Advanced Aerodynamics since 1996, he led the aerodynamic design and the development wind tunnel testing of the regional jets CRJ700/900/1000, the business jets Global Express and Challenger 300 and the main line jet CSeries. He leads Bombardier Aerospace Research and Technology since 2007 and Advanced Product Development since 2014. For many years, he taught Aerodynamics at University and he has been active in the Aerospace community, serving on boards of several provincial and federal organizations (CASI, GARDN, SA2GE, CRIAQ, COMPUTE CANADA, CARIC).
