We are driven by the love of Christ and a desire to glorify God to provide high-quality, transformational educational opportunities for children and their families living in abject poverty in the Mathare slum of Nairobi, Kenya. 

eduKenya began in 2006 with only 3 classes and 27 students. Today, our 60 local staff members serve hundreds of students and by extension thousands of community members through our schools, skill training program, and development initiatives. Although they grow up in one of Kenya's poorest communities, our students receive opportunities they never thought possible. In addition to a robust education, our students hear the good news of the gospel, deepen their faith, and are given support to live in obedience to their Creator.
