About Me
Emil Petriu is a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa. He has invented an absolute position measurement method using pseudo-random encoding, which is used for 3D model-based object recognition using computer vision, tactile robot-sensing, or structured light. He is a dedicated teacher and a prolific author.
